Learning Reflection (11th) of Seminar in English Language Teaching Course

   For this class, we learned about the trends for teaching and learning English. Teacher assigns me to study the article research in the topic "Major Trends in Global ELT Field: A Non-Native English-Speaking, Professional's Perspective." The researcher is "Yilin Sun". She presented the trends for teaching and Learning English 9 trends as follows:

     From this article, I think it quite difficult to apply in Thai context, because Thai teachers are accustomed to traditional education. And Thailand's education system is modified often. In most of the students Students also accustomed to traditional classes. Believe everything the teacher.  Should  encourage teachers to have competent in teaching English effectively. By learning to focus on learner-centered. Teachers must create a positive attitude in learning English to students. It can make students interested in learning In order to have a better learning English.

     Dengue fever is a disease caused by the mosquito.  Especially during the month of August, this is the rainy season. Everyone has a chance to be a dengue fever if you do not take care yourself.       Symptoms of dengue acute high fever for about 2-7 days.  Loss of appetite, headache, nausea and vomiting. Some people have red blood spots on the body, arms and legs. Maybe shock or possible died. How to prevent and control dengue is best to control spread of mosquito. • Get rid of mosquito breeding sources such as tires, cans  and  sources of water. • Will have to campaign for the removal of mosquito larvae in the community. • Maintain health, fitness, self-care and  family care.

Learning Reflection (3rd) of Seminar in English language Teaching Course

     From last week, teacher assigned me to discuss about ESL, EFL, EIL and the role of English in Thailand. So, today we have to present about that into the class. After that, teacher assigned everyone in the class to watch the video about  "The Global Englishes" of Crystal, D.      From the video we learned the Global Englishes is using English language as a common means of communication across cultures or we can called "lingua franca" which used among people who speak various different language.      Global English is a style of writing that makes written English more easily understood by non-native speakers. Global English does this by being precise, logical and literal.
