Learning Reflection (2nd)
In this week, I
learned about Recount. A
recount is the
unfolding of a
sequence of events
over time. The
purpose of recount
for told what
happened.

did you learn
in this lesson?
For the teaching,
Recount there are 3
types.
1.
Personal
Recount --- retelling of an
activity that the
writer. It’s a
personal stories such
as diary for
the recording routines.
2.
Factual
Recount --- the
story of real
events such as
new report , report of
a science experiment , police report.
3.
Imaginative
Recount --- the
story of the
imagination.
Then, learnt about
the feature of
each.
Personal Recount

Use
of first person
pronouns (I , we)

Personal
responses to the
event can be
included , particularly at the
end.

Details
are often chosen
to add interest
or humour.
Factual Recount

Used
of third pronouns (he , she , it , they)

Details
are usually selected
to help the
reader reconstruct the
activity or incident
accurately.

Mention
of personal feeling
is probably not
appropriate.

It
may be appropriate
to include explanations
and justifications.
Imaginative
Recount

Usually
written in the
first person

may be appropriate
to include personal
reactions.

easy?
The articles
are divided expense include orientation , event , reorientation. The language
feature is the
keyword such as
when? , Who? , What? , Where? , action
verbs / past tense , linking words
to do with
time and specific
part participants it made easy to understand.

difficult?
I
don’t know about
to start writing
text organization for writing
in the correct sequence. And
I don’t know
the terminology.

did you solve
the problem?
Trying to
start this article
and comprehension of the article and tried
to write in the
correct sequence , memorize vocabulary , find new
vocabulary and I will
try to remember
it.

are your attitudes
towards the lesson?
I never learned
this lesson as a profound size. From
the classroom I understood and
tried to work as a teacher to a group. I never knew before. I thought the lesson
is quite a
lot. But as I understand it, it is not difficult.
